bigtmtm asked: if u don't mind I was wondering could you tell me where you record at (where's it located) in Atlanta and how much do they cost because I rap also but I don't know anywhere around here that has a studio thanks hope to here from you.
Hey. sorry. I never get messages on here..so i don’t even know how long this has been here. buuut uh at my crib. i don’t go to studios a lot or at all anymore unsells its someone else’s session. its just too costly and the vibe is thrown off when you know you’re on the clock. I suggest saving up for some dope equipment and learning at least the basics yourself. you’ll save money and maybe make some mixing for local acts.
Call me weird, but I believe in the power of mental energy. I think we’re linked to people in ways that go beyond what can be directly determined by eyes. Like how your mom knows when you’re lying. How best friends know what each other are thinking. How twins finish each others’ sentences. The frequencies of separate minds can harmonize either naturally or with effort. Subconsciously or consciously. And that’s why I’m releasing Forbidden Fruit next week. The date on my first session for Forbidden Fruit is January 12th 2013. J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar are releasing a record called Forbidden Fruit on June 16th 2013. It may seem like a coincidence, but I can’t help believing my mind exhausts energy in their direction by listening to every Cole and Kendrick song, watching and reading articles and interviews and envisioning myself along side them/in their position. Call it crazy or the law of attraction but I feel that whether purposely or not, I’ve imprinted a sliver of a very special concept in their direction. The songs share titles but differ in approach, sonics and subject matter, but I cannot help feeling like it’s not a coincidence that the only two rappers in the industry that my music has physically crossed paths with end up on a together with the same namesake as a record that has been done for six months.
Or maybe it’s a coincidence.
